It’s no secret that I love photographing newborn sessions – but this one was extra special… Not only is the new dad my cool cousin, but Brooklyn’s nursery is beyond gorgeous (thanks to some wonderful design work by her very talented aunt)! Love love love!

I’m so thrilled to share these photos… As a wedding and portrait photographer, there aren’t many things that are more amazing than photographing newborn sessions for past wedding clients – especially when they happen to be one of your favorite couples! Little Jackson is one lucky guy – not only does he have awesome parents, but he has one of the cutest nurseries I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to watch this little guy grow. Cheers!

This was SUCH a fun session… I think it’s awesome to get your grown-up siblings, parents and significant others together for pictures! Lauren, who organized the whole thing while her siblings were in town visiting from California, hit a home run with the color scheme and styling – and Discovery Park provided a gorgeous backdrop, as usual – this just proves that it’s a perfect place to photograph in every single season!
